South Australian Gamers Alliance (SAGA) is community group bringing together various gaming groups, offering support and advice to all of its member organisations involved.
If you are looking for support system, SAGA aims to provide event, software and hardware support.

 

One of the main features of SAGA is LANbru, which provides the event organisation support, in the form of a event's management system which contains, ticketing, registration, online sales,  tournament software, forums, content management system.

Other benefits include a Point of Sale(POS) system, internet portal software with internet quota restrictions.

Some of these features are currently in development or not available, but in the near future all will be accessible to all members.

StreetGeek is the founder of the Gamers’ Alliance. In 2008, StreetGeek became the leader of the Social Gaming industry in South Australia with ticket sales for the year reaching 1253 tickets. StreetGeek is defined by its strong focus on community and fun, sociable gaming, as opposed to competitive, big-prizes gaming. Accordingly, the organisation enjoys the highest ration of female to male gamers in SA, making up 26% of all ticket sales.


Ignite Logo
IgniteLAN has been running since January 2005, and is one of the most frequently-held events in South Australia, with an attendance of around 20 on a monthly basis.

The Anime and Video Games Convention is a weekend-long annual event held at the Adelaide Convention Centre. AVCON ‘09 has a capacity of 4000 attendees, and is the uncontested centre of the Anime culture in Adelaide.


CsClub Logo
The Computing Science club of Adelaide University represents the interests of Computing Science students, and maintains a close relationship with gaming organisations and with employers in the industry.

Zeal is an XBOX and PC gaming event held on a monthly basis, run by the Golden Grove Salvation Army Youth.

Phlanx logo
PHLANX is an XBOX LAN, running every 3 months with an attendance of approximately 10.

WiLANga Logo
Wilanga is a LAN servicing the south. Wilanga runs a 10 person event several times per year.
